Our @blesma boxing session @haighousing in Morden was a double header. After some padwork in the Parish Hall we all headed over to @royalhospitalchelsea for lunch and a coffee before our second training session started there. 🥊

Yesterday’s boxing session @royalhospitalchelsea was another full house! We welcomed some new starters including 91 year old Ron who started throwing a few shots almost immediately.
Ron is looking forward to showing his boxing photos to his Great-Grandchildren.

We have now launched our @armedforcescovfundtrust

We have now launched our @armedforcescovfundtrust funded programme ‘Out of Your Corner’.
We began with an introduction from @bigjoeegan 7 x Irish Boxing Champion, Sparring partner of @miketyson and Actor in over 50 films.
In collaboration with @thepoppyfactory this project is open to Veterans across London and beyond.
The sessions take place at @fitzroylodge_1908_london Boxing club, sessions are run by England Boxing qualified Coaches, and aimed people of at all ages, abilities and capabilities, including those with no boxing experience.
Our boxing training sessions provide regular physical group activity in a friendly and supportive environment.
Sessions are non- contact and designed to be fun and enjoyable as well as giving all our participants a good workout.
Alongside this we also run social activities and support Veterans to access services, training opportunities and find work.
We aim to provide veterans with a welcoming space to meet socially, connect and to build friendships.
