…and we’re back!
Our new @cdarslondon cohort had their induction yesterday and we launched this with an intro from former British & Commonwealth Heavyweight Champ Julius Francis.
Julius gave a short talk on his incredible career and facing 5 World Champions including @miketyson and @vitaliyklitschko. He also spoke about the many obstacles and setbacks he had to face along the way.
The Coaches then got the session underway and Julius gave them some pad-work and a few pointers. A great start to our new programme!

What a day! A Masterclass from Anthony Marshall star of TVs ‘Inside the Hilton Park Lane’ and Executive Chef at the hotel for 34 years.
Chef Marshall gave a cooking Masterclass to some of the Veterans Boxing group from our @thepoppyfactory #thrivetogether project which is funded by the @armedforcescovfundtrust.

Our @blesma boxing session @haighousing in Morden was a double header. After some padwork in the Parish Hall we all headed over to @royalhospitalchelsea for lunch and a coffee before our second training session started there. 🥊

Yesterday’s boxing session @royalhospitalchelsea was another full house! We welcomed some new starters including 91 year old Ron who started throwing a few shots almost immediately.
Ron is looking forward to showing his boxing photos to his Great-Grandchildren.
